Mulvaney’s fame started with the TikTok series ‘Days of Girlhood’ where the influencer and activist detailed the transition from male to female. Many have criticized the series for perpetuating female stereotypes and diminishing what it means to be a woman.

On the 365th “Day of Girlhood,” Mulvaney was interviewed by Drew Barrymore on her show, ‘The Drew Barrymore Show.’

Images and videos of the interview went viral… specifically an image of Barrymore kneeling in front of Mulvaney. Naturally, the internet had a lot to say about the interaction.

Somehow, the full video context doesn’t make the picture better, as Barrymore’s tone and approach to the interview is peak pandering.

Memes of the interaction were instantly created.

It should be noted that Barrymore does this strange kneeling thing in many of her interviews.
