One of the most anticipated Star Wars series, Ahsoka has gotten a bit of a shift in its release schedule.

According to the Disney Q1 presentation this week, the series has gone from a “limited” listing to “scripted” and has been listed as Ahsoka (Season 1) on the release sheet.

This means that most likely, Disney has plans to make this show last more than one season on its streaming service Disney+, which makes sense to many fans of the Star Wars franchise.

Ahsoka Tano has been one of the most popular characters who originally debuted in the 2008 cartoon series, “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” and has since significantly grown her own fan base.

The character made her live-action debut in the second season of the Disney+ series The Mandalorian, portrayed by Rosario Dawson.

Ahsoka Tano, according to the Wikipedia page on the character was, “initially disliked by fans and critics,” but “slowly developed into a more complex, well-rounded character, and ultimately became a fan favorite. Serving as a foil for Anakin Skywalker, she has been highlighted as a strong female character in the franchise.”

Many viewed this Disney Q1 announcement of the multiple season show as “inevitable.”
