Anti-DeSantis Teacher Fired After ‘False-Narrative’ Video of Empty Bookshelves

It’s no secret that political bias has been seeping its way into classrooms across America, and sometimes teachers and educators go as far as to admit that bias on social media… and sometimes it backfires.

This is what happened with a Florida school teacher Brian Convey shared multiple posts about the school removing books and a video of empty bookshelves in an attempt to make Ron DeSantis look like some sort of fascist dictator.

DeSantis replied to the claims in a press conference:

The teacher hit back at DeSantis, doubling down on the accusations.

The Duval County Public School Twitter replied with more footage of the library, showing the narrative lacked context and facts.

Now, Convey has been let go from his position. “They basically said my services were no longer needed and that they had received multiple complaints about cell phone and social media and stuff like that,” Covey said.
