‘Days Of Our Lives’ Actor Dead at 34

According to TMZ, Cody Longo, an actor most known for his role on “Days of Our Lives” has died at age 34.

Longo’s wife called police who quickly responded to their residence in Austin, Texas, after she was unable to reach him and got an “uneasy feeling.”

According to Variety, Longo had a recurring role as Nicky Russo in the TV Series “Make it or Break It” in 2009-2010 and portrayed Nicholas Alamain on “Days of Our Lives” in 2011. Additionally in 2012, he played the role of Eddie Duran in 78 episodes of Nickelodeon’s “Hollywood Heights.”

The family member told TMZ, that Cody struggled with alcohol abuse for years — and went to rehab over the summer.

TMZ further adds that, “at this time, an official time of death has not been released, but the family believes he relapsed and alcoholism is likely what killed him.”

Longo leaves behind his wife, a 7-year-old daughter, a 5-year-old son and 1-year-old son.
