Sam Smith’s Fiery Grammy Performance Sparks Controversy

Many were quick to react to the ‘Unholy’ nature of Sam Smith and Kim Petras’ Grammy performance.

Smith and Petras won the Grammy for the ‘Best Pop Duo/Group Performance’ for their collaborative song ‘Unholy,’ making them the first non-binary and transgender artists to win the award.

Their live performance of the song was quick to spark concern and backlash for its devilish depictions.

Many called out the “irony” of the performance being sponsored by Pharma Giant Pfizer.
