Current WWE Smackdown Women’s world champion Charlotte Flair sat down with NBC’s Today to discuss everything from her upcoming match at the Royal Rumble to being a part of wrestling royalty.

When anchors of Today questioned what she thought about her father, WWE Hall of Famer and 16x world champion Ric Flair’s last match, she replied that, “Honestly, I was a little jealous… I was like oh, I want to be a part of this.” Charlotte’s husband and current AEW star Andrade tagged with Ric Flair in his final match – making it a family affair, except for her not having the opportunity to participate.

Charlotte added that she wished her little brother Reid Fliehr had been alive to see the match as well. Fliehr tragically died in 2013.
