Paul Pelosi Hammer Video Released

The body camera footage of the attack on former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul has been released to the media from the San Francisco Police Department.

In the video, officers arrive to the Pelosi home where they are greeted by Pelosi and his attacker, David Depape at the front door. Depape is holding a hammer and Pelosi is holding what appears to be a cocktail. The interaction at the door is completely calm with no panic until Depape is asked to drop the hammer – at which point he attacks Pelosi.

The video then shows a brief struggle with Depape when he is placed in handcuffs.
