Videobob Mosely, one of the foremost creators of Ghostbusters proton pack replicas since the original film was released compares fan-made packs to the new release from Hasbro.

For starters, the Hasbro Ghostbusters proton pack only cost around $499 when complete with neutrona wand (which was sold separately) – as opposed to fan-made packs which can range from $1500 to $2500.
