Velma Review: Woke Remake Is “Complete And Utter Trash”
Velma, the rebooted version of the classic Scooby Doo cartoon is everything you’d expect it to be for a woke update – swaps of races for characters, LGBT romance where there was no romance before, and of course the straight white male character being the butt of all the jokes.
Woke remakes have become a tired trope of the same thing over and over again, and they always – and we mean always fail. One thing they don’t fail to do however is create great content when torn apart by The Critical Drinker.
In his latest, the Drinker eviscerates Velma and calls out all the now tired, Social Justice Warrior nonsense that is included in the show.
